美国汉学家韩南的《无声戏》英译本Silent Operas完整再现原作形象，获得了国内外学者的广泛关注和高度评价。借助副文本理论，基于文本分析与传播接受视角，从多重维度分析该译作副文本对原作形象的再现与译作传播接受的作用机制。发现译作封面、译者序言和注释等内副文本设计布局合理、内容详实，再现了原作的艺术性和学术性；读者评价、出版平台和译者身份等外副文本元素丰富，有效推动了译作的传播和接受。从形象再现与传播接受视角阐释《无声戏》韩南英译本内外副文本，对于管窥文学翻译与作品形象再现的互动机制、探索中华典籍外译及其海外传播，均有一定借鉴意义。

Silent Operas, the English translation of Wusheng Xi by American sinologist Patrick Hanan, reconstructs the image of the original work and has garnered extensive attention and acclaim from scholars both domestically and internationally. Taking the concept of paratext as the theoretical basis and adopting a dual analytical framework of textual analysis and dissemination-reception studies, the paper systematically examines the operative mechanisms through which peritexts and epitexts mediate the representation of the original work's image while facilitating the dissemination and reception of the translation. It is found that the peritexts of the translation, such as the book cover, translator's preface and notes, are well-designed and comprehensive, representing an original image that embodies both artistic and academic qualities; and epitexts of the translation, including book reviews, the publishing platforms and the translator's identity, are abundant in elements, effectively promoting the dissemination and reception of the translation. Through investigating the peritexts and epitexts of Silent Operas from the perspective of image representation and dissemination-reception paradigms, the paper sheds light on revealing the interactive mechanism between literary translation and image representation and exploring the way of translating and transmitting Chinese classics.
